GMC Prepares for Super Bowl XLVIII as Official Vehicle of the NFL

Sierra Denali

While fans are getting ready for the big day by stocking up on beer and snacks, checking the weather forecast, tweeting for or against Sherman and making predictions on the number of “Omahas,” Super Bowl XLVIII will be just another day at work for GMC. The all-American automaker is the Official Vehicle of the NFL, and some of its models will be deployed during game day and other related events to support fans and the organization.

On January 26, GMC provided transportation and tickets to several U.S. military families who were attending the 2014 NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii. In addition, each team’s MVPs on offense and defense were awarded a new GMC SUV or truck, choosing between the 2015 GMC Yukon and the 2014 GMC Sierra Denali. These models will be featured along Super Bowl Boulevard for all fans to admire. GMC also engineered a Toboggan Run that will be on display at Broadway from January 29 through February 1, and all proceeds from this ride will go to charity.

No matter which team you support, the entire country gets together every year in front of a TV screen to enjoy the thrill that only the biggest sport in the U.S. can bring. GMC is proud to sponsor the NFL and share in the national spirit every time. Even if you’ll be watching just for the commercials, GMC will have something exciting to offer. Keep your eyes peeled!
