As the LA Auto Show kicks off in California, Colorado is making waves for truck fans across the country. Chevy’s brand-new midsize pickup truck, the Chevrolet Colorado, was recently unveiled at the auto show, and we think it redefines what a midsize truck should be. Going on sale next fall as a 2015 model, the Colorado will have a standard 2.5-liter I4 engine and an available 3.6-liter V6. Both options will feature direct injection and variable valve timing to generate the power truck drivers need while allowing them to return impressive fuel economy. Continue reading

The redesigned 2014 Chevy Silverado is now at our New Jersey Chevrolet dealership, and we thought this would be a great opportunity to let our fans know about all the impressive new features! Let’s take a closer look, starting under the hood with a new lineup of fuel-efficient engines. Leading off is a 4.3-liter EcoTec3 V6 that changes the game by offering plenty of power — 285 horsepower — while still returning a remarkable 24 mpg on the highway. If you need a truck that can be a daily driver while also fulfilling occasional needs for towing and hauling, the V6 is an excellent option that so far has been missing from the truck segment.
Chevrolet is taking a downsized approach to attract modern buyers, as sales of the brand’s small and compact cars have grown by 229 percent from the second quarter of 2010 to the same quarter this year. Much of that success can be attributed to the popularity of the Chevy Sonic, Spark and Cruze with the crucial millennial generation: A quarter of all Sonic and Spark buyers are under the age of 25, while the Cruze is among Chevrolet’s top-selling models for drivers in the same age bracket.
